Job description
Provide safe, dependable short-term support so family caregivers can rest, work, or attend to other responsibilities. Phoenix, Arizona area — availability to be confirmed.
Maintain familiar routines and a safe environment
Provide supervision and approved personal support
Engage the person in appropriate activities
Follow emergency, communication, and documentation procedures
Provide a clear handoff to the family or responsible person
What this role requires
At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States
Ability to complete required screening and training
Reliable scheduling and punctuality
Comfort supporting individual communication and behavioral needs
Sound judgment and professional boundaries
Helpful experience
Respite, childcare, disability support, education, or caregiving experience
Current CPR and first aid
Flexible evening or weekend availability
