Job description
Press Assistants
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Press Assistants to support a local printing operations team.
Responsibilities
Assist the Press Operator with daily printing operations.
Support make-ready procedures, including plate, ink, and blanket changes.
Load and transport board and materials to and from the printing press.
Perform routine preventative maintenance on press equipment.
Monitor print quality and assist with quality control checks.
Properly handle and dispose of printing waste materials.
Maintain inventory and restock pressroom supplies as needed.
Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
Follow production schedules and safety procedures.
Qualifications
Manufacturing, printing, or machine operation experience is preferred but not required.
Ability to lift and move materials throughout the shift.
Forklift and Pallet Jack experience is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted.
