About the Role:
La Esquina Mexican Grill in Thousand Oaks, CA is looking for an energetic and friendly Restaurant Cashier/Crew Member to join our team! Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner at the counter
Accurately process cash, card, and digital payments using a POS system
Take and fulfill customer orders with speed and accuracy
Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house and dining area
Assist with food prep, assembly, and packaging as needed
Restock supplies, condiments, and service stations throughout the shift
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Requirements:
Previous cashier, food service, or customer service experience preferred but not required
Strong communication skills and a positive, team-player attitude
Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
Reliable, punctual, and dependable with a strong work ethic
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
Flexible availability including weekends and holidays is a plus
