Job DescriptionBlackfinn Randhurst is seeking an outgoing and personable Restaurant Host/Hostess to be the welcoming face of our establishment. This role requires weekend availability and offers the chance to work within a small, close-knit team, primarily during peak hours. The successful candidate will report directly to the Floor Supervisor and play a crucial role in creating a positive initial impression and enhancing the overall guest experience.
Responsibilities
Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously
Manage reservations and waitlist efficiently
Answer phone calls and handle take-out orders accurately
Engage with guests to ensure a positive dining experience
Manage the guest queue during busy periods
Provide excellent customer service at all times
Maintain clear communication with team members and supervisors
Preferred Qualifications
Entry-level experience in customer service roles
Strong communication and phone etiquette skills
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and ability to collaborate within a team
Problem-solving skills to address guest concerns promptly
