Restoration Crew Chief / TechnicianServiceMaster by GBS is a family-owned, white-glove restoration company proudly serving homes and businesses across Long Island and the greater New York City metro area. Show us the attitude and the work ethic, and we will grow you — real advancement, not just a promise.What Makes You the Right FitYou have hands-on experience with water, fire, or mold restorationYou can walk onto a job site, assess the damage, and take charge without being told twiceYou lead crews and technicians with patience, clarity, and accountabilityYou communicate like a professional — with customers, insurance adjusters, and your teamYou document the job accurately, because you know it matters for the customer and the claimYou show up on time, in uniform, ready to workYou care about doing it right the first time, not just getting it doneResponsibilitiesRespond to service calls and manage jobs from first call to final walkthroughSet up and monitor structural drying, water extraction, fire/smoke cleanup, and mold remediationSupervise and train production technicians on-siteComplete accurate job documentation — moisture readings, photos, and drying logs — using mobile softwareCommunicate directly with customers, explaining the process and answering questionsInterface with insurance adjusters as neededIdentify and control safety hazards on every job siteMaintain and protect company vehicles, equipment, and materialsKeep vehicles, warehouse, and equipment clean and job-readyQualificationsRestoration, cleaning, or construction experience preferredValid driver's license with a clean driving record; comfortable driving a company vehicleIICRC certifications a plus — WRT, ASD, FSRT, OCT and others.
