Job description
Experienced Restoration TechnicianWe are looking for an experienced Restoration Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will respond to residential and commercial water, fire, and mold restoration projects and help customers recover from property damage. Responsibilities include water extraction, demolition, structural drying, cleaning, equipment setup and monitoring, and other restoration activities. We are looking for someone who is dependable, professional, takes pride in their work, and understands the importance of providing excellent service during what can be a stressful time for our customers.ResponsibilitiesPerform water, fire, mold, and other restoration services according to the project scope and crew chief or project manager instructionsPerform water extraction, demolition, cleaning, and structural drying activitiesSet up, monitor, and remove drying and restoration equipmentInventory and load vehicles with the equipment, products, tools, and supplies needed for each projectPrepare and protect work areas before beginning restoration activitiesMaintain clean and organized company vehicles, tools, and equipmentMaintain a clean, safe, and professional job siteDocument work performed and communicate job progress or concerns to the crew chief or project managerCommunicate professionally and respectfully with customers, coworkers, adjusters, and other parties on the job siteFollow company safety procedures and industry standardsParticipate in an on-call rotation for emergency restoration services when requiredQualificationsPrevious experience in water mitigation, fire restoration, mold remediation, or related restoration work strongly preferredIICRC certification preferred, particularly WRT and/or ASDExperience performing demolition and operating restoration and drying equipmentCommercial restoration experience is a plusStrong work ethic and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProfessional appearance and communication skillsValid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordHigh school diploma or GEDAbility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and emergency calls as neededPhysical Requirements Candidates must be able to:Regularly lift and carry at least 50 pounds and occasionally lift heavier items with assistanceClimb ladders and work at ceiling heightWork in crawl spaces, attics, basements, and other confined areasSit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work for extended periodsRepetitively push, pull, lift, and carry equipment and materialsSafely work with cleaning products, antimicrobial products, and other restoration chemicalsWear appropriate personal protective equipment when requiredTravel locally to job sites and occasionally travel outside the immediate service area when necessaryWhat We OfferCompetitive hourly compensation based on experience and certificationsPaid time offPaid training and continuing educationOpportunities to obtain additional IICRC certificationsOvertime opportunitiesOpportunities for advancement into Crew Chief, Lead Technician, or Project Management positionsCompany-provided tools, equipment, and uniformsA growing company where quality work and dependable team members are recognizedWe are looking for someone who wants more than just another job.
