Restoration TechnicianServiceMaster Restore® – Water, Fire & Disaster RecoveryAt ServiceMaster Restore, we respond when homes and businesses face water, fire, smoke, and storm damage. We are hiring a skilled and motivated Restoration Technician to perform mitigation and restoration services for residential and commercial properties. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who works well under pressure, values craftsmanship, and understands the importance of customer care during stressful loss situations.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform water extraction, structural drying, fire and smoke mitigationSet up, monitor, and remove restoration equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers)Perform controlled demolition and removal of damaged materialsClean, sanitize, and restore structural materials and contentsTake moisture readings using meters and thermal imaging toolsDocument job progress with photos and mobile job management softwareMaintain safe, organized, and professional job sitesCommunicate clearly with customers, adjusters, and team membersFollow OSHA safety standards, PPE requirements, and company proceduresParticipate in on-call rotation for emergency response servicesQualificationsExperience in restoration, mitigation, construction, general labor, or skilled trades preferredKnowledge of water damage restoration, mold remediation, or fire damage cleanup a plusIICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT) preferred or willingness to obtainAbility to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor in varied environmentsValid driver's license with acceptable driving recordWillingness to work evenings, weekends, and emergency callsWhy Join ServiceMaster Restore?Competitive pay with overtime potentialPaid training and support for IICRC certificationsSteady year-round work in essential disaster recovery servicesCareer advancement opportunities (Lead Technician, Crew Chief, Estimator, Project Manager)Work that directly helps families and businesses recoverBenefitsCompany vehicle or mileage reimbursement (role dependent)Company phoneServiceMaster Restore franchise locations are independently owned and operated.
