Now Hiring: Experienced Water Damage Restoration Technician (1+ Year Required)Join the award-winning team at Restoration 1 of Horry County. Are you a hands-on, reliable restoration technician with at least one year of experience in water mitigation, mold remediation, or fire damage cleanup? Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM, On-call RotationPerks:Paid Time Off and HolidaysCompetitive pay depending on experience and certificationsBonus opportunities401kAdvancement opportunitiesWhat We're Looking For:At least 1 year of experience in the restoration or mitigation field (water/mold/fire)IICRC certifications a plus (but not required if you're actively working in the field)Comfortable with moisture meters, dehumidifiers, air movers, and demo toolsAble to document jobs clearly using photos, notes, and mobile softwareClean driving record, ability to pass a background checkProfessional appearance and customer-first attitudeRequirements:A positive, can-do attitudeValid driver's license without a major violation (OMVI, Reckless, etc.)Be drug free and committed to staying drug freeCan communicate with crews, customers, and management verbally and/or in writingA high school diploma, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experienceEager to learn and acquire new skillsCore Job Duties:Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide efficient and effective restoration services.Assess and document damage, create detailed reports, and develop action plans for restoration.Perform water extraction, drying, dehumidification, mold remediation, fire damage restoration, and crime scene cleanup.Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times.Provide legendary customer serviceWork individually or as part of a teamDemonstrate dependability and efficient work practicesResponsible for documentation of jobs to ensure accuracyBonus Points:IICRC Certifications such as WRT, AMRT, ASD, and/or FSRTExperience with trauma/crime scene clean-upExperience with crawlspace encapsulationKnowledge and experience with Encircle and/or Xcelerate job management systemsPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistanceAbility to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces, attics)Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of timeAbility to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objectsAbility to work with/around cleaning products/chemicalsAbility to travel locallyRestoration Support to Help You Get Your Normal BackAt Restoration 1, we help people get their property and life back to normal when they're dealing with water, mold, or fire damage.
