As a Restorative Aide (RNA) joining our team, you're embracing a vital mission dedicated to making communities healthier.More about our teamKindred Hospital – Chattanooga is a 49-bed long term acute care hospital offering the same in-depth care you would receive in a traditional hospital, but for an extended recovery period.How you'll contributeA restorative aide (RNA) who excels in this role:Responsible for carrying out individual restorative programs designed by the Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech PathologistCommunicates observations of residents' condition, preventing residents' neglect, abuse and violations of rights and privacy, and promoting continuity of care through accurate and timely documentation and reportingSanitization of whirlpool, tubs and showers when used in restorative therapy, and assisting residents with ambulation and transfer as neededAble to lift and carry equipment, supplies and materials up to 50 lbs on a regular basisAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in EnglishSuperior customer service and resident care skillsSuccessful candidates will demonstrate interest, enthusiasm, and experience working with older adultsOther duties as assignedWhy join usWe believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
