Restorative Director
ALIYA on 87th is seeking an experienced and dedicated Restorative Nurse to lead and oversee our restorative nursing program. As a key member of our team, you will ensure that residents achieve and maintain their highest level of physical, mental, and psychosocial well‑being through structured restorative care.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and manage the restorative nursing program in accordance with state and federal regulations
Assess residents for restorative needs and ensure appropriate programs are initiated and maintained
Collaborate with therapy, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams to support individualized care plans
Supervise and train restorative aides and nursing staff on restorative techniques and best practices
Monitor resident progress and adjust restorative programs to maximize outcomes
Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant documentation
Support MDS assessments and care planning related to restorative services
Conduct audits and ensure program compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards
Maintain restorative equipment and ensure proper use and safety
Promote resident independence and quality of life through consistent program oversight
Requirements:
Active LPN or RN license required
Previous experience in restorative nursing or rehabilitation in a SNF setting required
Prior leadership or program management experience preferred
Strong knowledge of restorative programs, MDS, and regulatory compliance
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to lead staff and collaborate across departments
Compassionate, resident‑focused approach
