Job description
We are working with our best client in finance to help them find someone with experience in restructuring and turnaround. This is a new role and it is slated to become it's own department with future hires. The company is strong and successful and is enjoyed a well-planned growth period. They see this role as a pivotal point in their continued trajectory. They are open to the level and title and are open to relocating the right candidate. Responsibilities
Analyze distressed, underperforming, and special situation investments
Perform financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling, and credit assessments
Evaluate restructuring alternatives and develop recommendations for senior leadership
Monitor portfolio performance and identify emerging risks and opportunities
Participate in negotiations, workouts, and restructuring processes when applicable
Prepare investment memoranda, management presentations, and financial reporting materials
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external advisors, and business partners
Support strategic projects and initiatives related to portfolio optimization and risk management

Required:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
3 to 7 years of experience in restructuring/IB/PE
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• Ability to interpret complex financial and operational information
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Preferred:
Restructuring or turnaround consulting
Transaction advisory services
Credit or investment analysis
Special situations investing
Corporate workout or asset recovery functions
Financial due diligence
