Full-Time | In-Person
Location: Rowan Encinitas Flagship
Compensation: $20-24/hour + Commission

We're looking for someone to help us bring that vision to life at our Encinitas flagship store.
The Role
The Retail Brand & Community Lead is a full-time, customer-facing role that goes beyond traditional retail. Yes, you'll sell. You'll learn our product, serve customers, maintain the store, and help us hit our goals.
But we're looking for someone who can think beyond the four walls of the store. Someone who naturally builds relationships. Someone who knows what's happening in Encinitas and North County. Someone who can introduce Rowan to a local restaurant, connect with creators, help bring an events to life, capture a great piece of content, or personally follow up with a customer they met the week before.
This role sits at the intersection of sales, hospitality, community, culture, and brand.
The goal is to grow Rowan Encinitas by creating relationships and experiences that turn people into customers and customers into community.
What You'll Do
Create Exceptional Hospitality
Make every person who walks through our doors feel seen, welcomed, and cared for. Deliver the kind of experience people remember and want to return to.
Build Client Relationships
Develop genuine relationships with customers through thoughtful clienteling, personal outreach, follow-up, product recommendations, and invitations back into the store.
Drive Sales & Store Performance
Help achieve store goals while understanding the bigger picture behind the numbers — awareness, traffic, conversion, retention, and revenue.
Build Local Community
Look beyond the store and develop relationships with local restaurants, businesses, gyms, hotels, creators, organizations, and other potential community partners.
Help Create Events & Activations
Bring ideas to the table and help execute store events, partnerships, collaborations, and experiences that introduce new people to Rowan.
Create & Capture Content
Recognize authentic moments worth sharing and help capture content from the store, our customers, events, products, and the surrounding community.
Build Culture
Help make our Encinitas flagship a place where people love to shop, spend time, work, and connect.
Who We're Looking For

Previous retail experience is valuable, but character, initiative, hospitality, creativity, and the ability to build relationships matter just as much to us.
