POSITION SUMMARY
A growing cannabis retailer is seeking a Retail District Manager to join the Colorado-based team. The Retail District Manager is responsible for reaching the sales and profit goals in the assigned District by creating a cross-functional plan to deliver the best customer experience aligned with the company. They work with succession planning, talent and leadership development, and structured performance management for the Store Managers based on results, values, and leadership. The DM will work in accordance with legal requirements and company standards, policies, and procedures to meet the expectations of customers and colleagues.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Regularly analyze and follow up sales & profit KPIs and take actions accordingly
Ensure the hours plan is in line with the sales budget
Ensure that scheduling maximizes conversion within the frame of the hours plan
Prioritize actions that have a clear impact on selling
Ensure an allocation that secures a good product level according to the selling together with the Production team
Follow up to ensure the store execution meets Company standards
Implement and follow up on all SOPs
Ensure Company customer service standards are delivered in all stores in your District
Analyze and implement the optimal store layout in every store through cooperation with the Creative team
Ensure stores are maintained in a cost-efficient way and initiate actions accordingly
Actively prevent loss together with Store Management & ensure all stores follow appropriate guidelines
Maintain an overview of the competitor landscape, potential risks, threats, and opportunities and take actions accordingly
Oversee and manage recruitment, training, development, and succession planning for stores
Together with the HR Director, follow up & evaluate HR KPIs & initiate actions accordingly to maximize results
Monitor, evaluate, and manage the performance of Store Managers; execute annual performance reviews, development plans and follow-ups and take actions accordingly
Actively work with a talent pipeline to support the business needs
Collaborate with the corporate functions and ensure clear communication to the stores xavwley on business performance, company culture, strategy, and company goals
Ensure health & safety, legal and security issues are always being handled to Company standards and local laws securing the employee and customer safety
Accountable to the sales and profit for the designated District
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree is preferred or equivalent years of experience
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Multi-Unit Manager or 5-7 years as a Store Manager for a large volume store or in a comparable role
Strong commitment and experience with providing a high level of customer service
Ability to coach and counsel staff and performance management and progressive discipline techniques
