nSummary:
nThe lender purpose is to support the company’s mission statement, values, and sales goals by establishing new customer relationships and retaining and expanding existing customer relationships. The lender will analyze loan applications, decision loans within the lender’s individual lending authority, generate interest income, monitor and service existing loan customers, make credit decisions, collect on loans and market the bank’s services and products.
nDuties:
nCompile and analyze data for loan requests; outline loan terms and conditions and inform borrowers of loan commitments; assist borrowers by making appropriate recommendations concerning financing options and financial decisions
nOriginate and service business and individual loans both secured and unsecured
nScreen loan requests based upon bank policies
nMaintain compliance with loan policy, procedures and documentation, including loan package preparation, while properly structuring
nAnalyze financial information and loan collateral to determine strength of loan proposal
nWrite Credit Memorandum detailing borrower(s) credit strength, details of loan and other necessary information needed for a clear representation of credit package and recommendation for approval
nPresent loan to President/CEO, Underwriter and/or the Board of Directors for approval
nMonitor past due reports and contact customers to determine solution
nMaintain accurate pipeline report
nRenew matured loans in a timely manner
nProvide on-going service to existing clients and branch personnel regarding loan questions and issues
nEstablish relationships to expand lending opportunities
nProduce quality referrals through regular calls on existing and prospective customers as well as referral sources
nAttend and participate in community events, volunteer events, and local organizations to represent the Bank and make business contacts

nEducation:
nHigh School diploma or equivalent
nCollege degree in Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred
