Job description
Job Summary:
nThe Merchandising Intern supports category growth by using data, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities across assortment, pricing, promotions, and category performance. The role partners with merchants and cross-functional teams to analyze business trends, develop recommendations, and contribute to strategic initiatives that improve the customer experience and drive sales.
nInterns may own a defined merchandising project aligned to key business priorities and present findings and recommendations to merchandising leadership.
nJob Responsibilities:
nnnPerforms various activities that contribute to the strategy development process for the assigned business unit.

nnUtilizes various tools and resources to analyze information and make recommendations to support the business.
n
nnProvides general day to day support across the various divisions within Walgreens.
n
nnSuggests recommendations to leadership for improving and updating policies and processes.
n
nnMay deliver a project aligning to strategic priorities and present to manager/leadership upon completion.

nBasic Qualifications
nnnCurrently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program with 2 semesters remaining upon start date
n
nnExperience communicating via written reports and presenting the information in a formal or classroom setting.
n
nnExperience collaborating with teams
n
nnBasic level skill in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
n
n nPreferred Qualifications
nnCandidates pursuing a degree in Business, Economics, or a related field are preferred.
