Pharmacy - Pharmacist 1 day ago Somers Point, NJ
A full-time Staff Pharmacist position is available in Somers Point, NJ, offering a dynamic work environment with a rotating schedule. This contract role is ideal for licensed pharmacists with strong clinical and communication skills, ready to support patient care in a retail pharmacy setting.
Schedule:
Monday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Tuesday: Off
Wednesday: 10:00 AM 8:00 PM or 12:00 PM 8:00 PM
Thursday: Rotating on/off
Friday: Rotating opening or closing shift
Saturday: Every other Saturday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Sunday: 9:00 AM 2:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
Verify prescriptions to ensure accuracy and patient safety
Provide comprehensive patient counseling and medication education
Administer immunizations in compliance with state guidelines
Manage pharmacy workflow and supervise pharmacy technician support
Ensure adherence to pharmacy policies and New Jersey state regulations
Qualifications:
Proven ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members
Availability to work the specified rotating schedule, including weekends
