nCentral Maine Healthcare (CMH), a member of Prime Healthcare Foundation, is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving approximately 400,000 residents across central, western, and midcoast Maine through a network of more than 40 primary and specialty care locations. The system includes Central Maine Medical Center (CMMC) in Lewiston, a 250-bed, not-for-profit regional referral hospital that is home to the region's only Cancer Care Center, an orthopedic ambulatory surgery center, and the Central Maine Heart and Vascular Institute. CMMC also serves as the central Maine base for LifeFlight of Maine, the state's only medical helicopter service.
nCMH also includes Bridgton Hospital and Rumford Hospital, two 25-bed critical access hospitals that provide essential care to Maine's rural communities.

nResponsibilities
nThe Retail Pharmacist will assist the Retail Pharmacy Manager in outpatient pharmacy operations. Coordinates the activities of the pharmacy department to provide the highest quality of pharmaceutical care to all patients served by the hospital or the outpatient pharmacy, while ensuring patient safety. The scope of patient care provided may include: General Medicine/Surgical, Intensive Care Services, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Perioperative, Geriatrics, and Outpatient Services including Immunizations, Meds to Beds, and coordination with Pharmacotherapy, Population Health, and Specialty Pharmacy teams.
nQualifications
nnnCurrent state Registered Pharmacist License required.
n
nnB.S. degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required.
n
nnAt least 3 years of previous pharmacy retail experience preferred.
n
nnPrevious retail supervisory or PIC experience preferred.
n
nnStrong verbal and written communication skills and customer service skills required.
n
nnExperience with pharmacy computer systems, spreadsheets, word processing programs, and other databases required.
n
nnAPhA Immunization Certification and BLS required.
n
nnExperience working with Ambulatory Pharmacy Teams preferred.

nn340B program experience preferred (if at a 340B facility)

nPay Transparency
nCentral Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $54.50 to $68.14. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
