Job description
A full-time Pharmacist opportunity is available at a retail pharmacy location in Dingmans Ferry, PA. This direct hire role offers the chance to lead pharmacy operations, collaborate closely with the store team, and deliver outstanding patient care within a dynamic retail setting. The position involves working variable day and afternoon shifts, averaging 69 hours bi-weekly, with an immediate start date.
Key Responsibilities:
Cultivate a strong partnership with store operations and pharmacy associates to support company strategy and drive engagement.
Ensure prescription accuracy through thorough Drug Utilization Review and adherence to state and federal pharmacy regulations.
Manage pharmacy operations to grow script volume and profitability, promoting clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
Oversee inventory control, including ordering pharmaceutical stock in alignment with customer demand and sales trends.
Align departmental performance objectives with key metrics to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
Deliver superior customer service by addressing medical inquiries and providing healthcare counseling.
Supervise and develop pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff through training, coaching, and maintaining departmental security.
Resolve customer issues to build trust and foster loyalty.
Maintain a clean, organized pharmacy environment and ensure timely completion of operational tasks like cycle counts and will-call management.
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Commitment to compliance and patient safety.
