About the Role:
As a Pharmacist at Medical West, UAB, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. Minimum Qualifications:
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
Active pharmacist license in the state of practice..
Responsibilities: Review and interpret medication orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness.
Provide medication therapy management and pharmacoeconomic evaluations to optimize patient outcomes.
Counsel patients on medication use, potential side effects, and adherence strategies.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
