Role Description The Retail Sales Merchandiser is a full-time, on-site role based in La Grange, TX. In this position, the team member is responsible for executing merchandising plans, stocking shelves, setting up displays, and ensuring product placement aligns with brand and store guidelines. Day-to-day activities include maintaining inventory levels, rotating products, checking pricing and signage, and promoting featured items to support sales goals. The role involves building positive relationships with store staff and management, gathering feedback from the retail floor, and communicating insights to internal teams. The Retail Sales Merchandiser is also expected to follow company policies, meet assigned performance metrics, and represent Anderson Merchandisers in a professional and customer-focused manner.
Qualifications
Strong Retail Sales and Retail operations skills to support in-store product placement and merchandising activities.
Proficiency in Customer Service to interact effectively with store personnel and shoppers.
Experience or aptitude in Sales & Marketing and Sales to help drive product awareness and sales performance.
Ability to work independently in an on-site retail environment, manage time efficiently, and handle physical tasks such as lifting, stocking, and setting up displays.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and basic computer literacy for reporting and use of handheld devices.
Reliable transportation to travel to the La Grange, TX store location as required, and flexibility to work retail hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Previous experience in merchandising, retail, or related fields is preferred but not required; high school diploma or equivalent is beneficial.
