Job DescriptionThe ideal Nordstrom Rack team member enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. You'll make the customer experience quick, easy and fun while helping customers uncover the great deals they're looking for.We have multiple roles available in Sales, Cashier, Stock and/or Fulfillment departments. You can apply here and discuss which role you're most interested in, during the interview process.A Day in the Life for Sales and CashierCreate a smooth fitting room experience by greeting customers and taking them to their fitting rooms, then sorting and returning clothing to the floorMotivate and inspire others to adopt initiatives such as our Nordstrom Rewards programKeep the stockrooms organized and complete all inventory processes, making sure merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketedWork with the team to ensure the sale's floor stays "runway ready" through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the dayAssist customers with a variety of transactions through a seamless and friendly experienceDemonstrate expertise in all technologies used in the store environmentDefuse customer situations and provide resolutions in a timely and effective mannerA Day in a Life for Stock Support and FulfillmentReceive, unload freight, unpack and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departmentsFulfill customer orders in a timely manner following quality standardsPrepare and ship customer's orders following quality, packing and shipping standardsUtilize inventory management systems to scan, process and research merchandise shipments in accordance with our inventory control processesAssist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockroomsProvide general support to the store, e.g. set up special events, organize backroom, markdowns, and relocate store fixturesYou own this if you have…Clear, effective communication with strong interpersonal skillsAccountability, initiative and a high level of ownershipOrganizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentThe ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds (STOCK SUPPORT OR FULFILLMENT ROLE)The ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needsWe've got you covered…Our employees are our most important asset and that's reflected in our benefits. Pay ranges may be different for other locations. Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.$15.60 - $16.20 Hourly This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
