When you join KeHE, you're becoming part of a team that is a force for good.Primary ResponsibilitiesThe Retail Stocker is responsible for stocking, rotating, and merchandising KeHE supplied product for assigned customers within a region. To be successful in this role, the Retail Stocker must understand the movement of products and prioritization of temp zones. A Retail Stocker should be knowledgeable of stores' products and provide customers with useful information to improve shopping experience and strengthen the overall relationship with customer. As with all KeHE employees, individuals must perform all duties in alignment with KeHE's mission, vision and core values. This position is part-time, Saturdays only in and around Baton Rouge, LA.Essential FunctionsDUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Stock, rotate, and merchandise KeHE supplied products for assigned customers within the region.Remove products from pallets and sort products on carts by using aisle numbers on pick labels.Maintain productivity of pre-defined number of cases per hour.Work on various projects as assigned including but not limited to: new item cut-in, category resets, "best-buy" and code checks, shelf and product maintenance, and emergency deliveries.Assist with product placement and positioning on store shelves. Create attractive displays for goods.Utilization of platform/application in checking in and out of location, as well as tracking of assigned projects and completion.Maintain good attendance, safe work practices and maintain safeguards of confidential company information.Working backstock, building new displays, and new item placement as necessary.Other duties and special assignments as assigned by management.SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently without direct on-site supervisionKeep a clean and organized workspaceAbility to stand for long hours and lift heavy merchandiseBreak down pallets using minimal spaceAbility to follow information in a schematic formatStrong organizational, time management and communication skillsInteract and communicate effectively and professionally with retail team and store personnelComfortable performing multi-faceted tasks in conjunction with day-to-day activitiesPositive, professional, and friendly dispositionMinimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, AptitudeEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High School Diploma requiredValid driver's license & clean MVR required.Minimum 1-3 years' experience in grocery industryMicrosoft Outlook experience requiredAbility and willingness to work SaturdaysAbility and willingness to travel up to 75%.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. May need to drive between stores as per assignment.
