Retail Security Guard (Full-Time)We are hiring a Retail Security Guard to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for customers, employees, and vendors. Key Responsibilities:
Security & Patrol: Patrol assigned areas or maintain a fixed post to monitor activity. Control access points and manage pedestrian/vehicle traffic. Identify and report suspicious activity, incidents, or safety concerns. Respond to alarms, emergencies, and on-site incidents.Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor CCTV cameras and security systems. Complete daily activity logs, incident reports, and required documentation. Maintain awareness of surroundings at all times.Safety & Compliance: Follow all post orders, company policies, and safety procedures. Maintain knowledge of emergency response protocols. Inspect property for safety risks (fire hazards, equipment issues, etc.). Support loss prevention and recommend safety improvements.Customer Service: Greet and assist customers, employees, and visitors in a professional manner. Provide directions and support as needed. Maintain a visible, approachable presence on-site.
Qualifications:
Required: Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to stay alert and respond calmly in emergency situations. Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions. Ability to write clear and accurate reports. Must present a professional appearance and demeanor. State Guard license is required.Preferred: Prior security or customer-facing experience. Familiarity with CCTV, alarms, or access control systems.Skills & Attributes:High level of attentiveness and situational awareness.Dependable and team-oriented.Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.Strong work ethic with a sense of urgency.Work Expectations:Arrive on time in full uniform and ready to work.Stay engaged and proactive throughout your shift.Follow all safety, training, and compliance requirements.Additional Information:Duties may vary based on site needs.
