Job description
A pharmacy opportunity is available in Waseca, MN, serving within a specialty pharmacy setting focused on long-term care. This role offers a 13+ week contract with a flexible schedule ranging from 24 to 40 hours per week, based primarily Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with some weekend shifts required.
Responsibilities:
Perform the duties of a long-term care pharmacist, ensuring accurate dispensing and patient safety.
Manage and review medication orders for long-term care patients.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize pharmaceutical care.
Maintain compliance with state pharmacy regulations and facility policies.
Qualifications & Desired Experience: Active Minnesota pharmacist license is required.
Experience in retail pharmacy practice with knowledge of specialty pharmacy operations.
Familiarity with long-term care pharmacy services.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Location: Waseca, Minnesota
Contract Type: Contract position with a duration of 13 weeks or more.
Schedule/Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Some weekend work may be required.
