Job description
A part-time Retail Pharmacist position is available within a grocery store pharmacy located in Omaha, Nebraska. This ongoing contract assignment offers a flexible two-week rotating schedule designed to balance both pharmacy needs and your availability.
Schedule Details:
Week 1: Sunday (10:00 AM - 2:00 PM), Tuesday (9:00 AM - 7:00 PM), Friday (9:00 AM - 7:00 PM) - Total 24 hours
Week 2: Tuesday (9:00 AM - 7:00 PM), Saturday (10:00 AM - 5:00 PM) - Total 17 hours The Pharmacy Manager is willing to accommodate schedule adjustments as needed.
Key Responsibilities: Verify prescriptions accurately and ensure patient safety
Provide patient counseling and guidance on medication usage
Oversee pharmacy workflow and support pharmacy technicians
Maintain strict compliance with state and federal regulations
Deliver exceptional customer service within a retail pharmacy environment
Desired Qualifications: Active Nebraska Pharmacist license in good standing
Recent experience in retail pharmacy preferred
Excellent communication and customer service capabilities
Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Flexibility to adapt to scheduling needs
Familiarity with McKesson Enterprise is a plus, though not required
