Job description
A local opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist in a retail setting, working part-time with a schedule that supports work-life balance. This 13-week contract position is located in Hollywood, FL, and is ideal for a pharmacist ready to contribute expertise in a community pharmacy environment.
Responsibilities:
Verify prescriptions accurately to ensure patient safety.
Provide professional and compassionate patient counseling.
Supervise and guide pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient operations.
Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.
Qualifications/Desired Experience: Licensed pharmacist with experience in retail pharmacy.
Strong knowledge of medication dispensing and patient counseling.
Excellent communication skills with patients and team members.
Ability to supervise and support pharmacy technicians effectively.
Location: Hollywood, FL (Local candidates preferred; no travel required)
Schedule/Hours: Part-time, Day Shift: Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
