Job description
Two opportunities for experienced retail pharmacists are available in Johnson City, NY, within the vibrant Upstate New York region. These roles offer a contract position starting ASAP, with an initial duration of 13 weeks or more.
Responsibilities include:
Verifying and accurately filling prescriptions in a timely manner
Providing counseling and guidance to patients regarding their medications
Supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient pharmacy operations
Maintaining compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
Qualifications: Valid New York State Pharmacist license is required
Prior retail pharmacy experience is preferred
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
