Job description
Join a grocery store pharmacy as a part-time Retail Pharmacist in Omaha, Nebraska, through a contract opportunity. This ongoing assignment offers a flexible two-week rotating schedule that can be adjusted to fit your availability and pharmacy needs.
Schedule Overview:
Week 1: Sunday 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Tuesday 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Friday 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM (24 hours total)
Week 2: Tuesday 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM (17 hours total)
Key Responsibilities: Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently
Provide patient counseling and guidance as required
Oversee pharmacy workflow and support pharmacy technicians
Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations
Deliver excellent customer service in a retail pharmacy environment
Qualifications & Desired Experience: Active Nebraska Pharmacist license in good standing
Recent experience in retail pharmacy preferred
Strong communication skills and dedication to customer service
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Flexibility to adjust schedule when needed
Experience with McKesson Enterprise preferred but not mandatory
