Job description
Join a fast-paced retail pharmacy located on a prominent hospital campus in Michigan, where you will apply your expertise to serve a high volume of patients. This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, providing a consistent work routine in a dynamic environment processing approximately 600 to 700 prescriptions daily.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify and accurately fill prescriptions in a timely manner
Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow efficiency
Provide professional counseling to patients regarding medications and health concerns
Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations in a busy retail setting
Ideal Candidate Qualifications: Licensed Pharmacist in Michigan with a current Controlled Substance License
Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing in a retail pharmacy environment
Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
Commitment to patient care and adherence to quality and safety standards
Location: Position based in a retail pharmacy on the Bronson Methodist campus in the Kalamazoo, Michigan area
