Job description
A specialty pharmacy in Waseca, MN, is seeking an experienced pharmacist for a contract position lasting 13+ weeks. This role involves providing comprehensive long-term care pharmacy services and supporting patient medication management in a dynamic retail environment.

Waseca, MN
Schedule/Hours:
Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Some weekend shifts required
24 to 40 hours per week (hours can increase to full-time to accommodate staffing needs)
Responsibilities: Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently in compliance with state and federal regulations
Manage long-term care pharmacy duties, including medication therapy review and patient counseling
Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to optimize medication use and patient outcomes
Maintain proper documentation and adhere to pharmacy policies and procedures
Ensure the safe storage and handling of all pharmaceutical products
Qualifications: Licensed Pharmacist in Minnesota (MN License required)
Experience in retail pharmacy and long-term care pharmacy settings preferred
PharmD degree or equivalent certification
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
