Job description
A Retail Staff Pharmacist role is available on a contract basis, providing essential pharmacy coverage in Walkerton, IN. This position requires 32 to 40 hours per week, starting immediately, with a focus on Thursday and Friday shifts and alternating Saturdays.
Location:
Walkerton, IN
Schedule: Weekdays (Monday-Friday): 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Saturdays (every other week): 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
4-5 days per week (32-40 hours)
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Current Indiana pharmacist license
Proven retail pharmacy experience
Familiarity with order entry systems, preferably PioneerRx
Strong attention to detail in filling orders and verifying technician-prepared products
Ability to maintain pharmacy security and control over controlled substances
Accuracy in entering orders and patient information
Responsibilities: Accurately fill and verify prescription orders
Oversee pharmacy technician activities, checking all dispensed products before release
Ensure compliance with security protocols for pharmacy and controlled substances
Enter orders and patient data into the system with precision
Support the retail pharmacy team in delivering excellent customer service and efficient medication dispensing
