If you enjoy helping customers, keeping a clean and organized environment, and taking pride in your work, this is the role for you!Why Join AFR?Competitive payExcellent benefits package: medical, dental, vision, life insurancePaid vacation, PTO, 401K, and moreA team that feels more like familyGrowth opportunities with a company that's been thriving for decadesThe PositionThe Retail Stock Associate is responsible for providing outstanding customer service, maintaining a clean and well-merchandised store, and assisting with purchases, deliveries, and stock management.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver quality customer service, including assistance with purchases, suggestive selling, and product informationMaintain up-to-date knowledge of store products and pricingOperate the sales machine and cash register accurately, returning appropriate changeKeep the store neat and organized, including dusting, vacuuming, and cleaningPrepare and maintain attractive product displays on the sales floorReport any theft or suspicious activity to management immediatelyAssist with stock levels and inventory managementRemove sold product from the sales floor and prepare for customer pickup and deliveryPull product for delivery or pick-up and move items to staging areas for loadingAssemble or disassemble furniture as directed by store managementUse proper material handling procedures to prevent injury or product damageMaintain restrooms and interior/exterior common areas as assignedQualificationsEducation & LanguagesHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredEnglish required; Spanish language skills preferred (verbal and written)ExperienceExperience preferred but not mandatory; training availableSkills & RequirementsGood oral, written, and reading communication skillsCustomer service oriented and excels in customer relationsDemonstrates professionalism and attention to detailStrong time management and organizational skillsAvailable to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as neededPhysical & Mental QualificationsStand and walk for extended periodsPerform simple tasks, rational thinking, and numerical calculationsRearrange furniture and merchandise on the sales floorOur Commitment to DiversityDiversity ensures the success of our careers, and our lives.
