The Floor Leader at milk + honey supports Location Leadership in guiding daily operations and creating a welcoming, consistent guest experience. Through hands-on leadership, strong relationships, and clear communication, the Floor Leader helps the team navigate daily priorities and respond to challenges with resilience and adaptability. This role brings milk + honey’s core values to life through thoughtful service, teamwork, and attention to detail.
Work Hours and Compensation:
Floor Leads work a mixture of AM and PM shifts, including weekends and some holidays.
Compensation ranges from $20-$23 per hour depending on experience.
What You’ll Do
Serve as Manager on Duty, providing hands-on support at the front desk and helping daily spa and salon operations run smoothly.
Model excellent guest service, respond thoughtfully to guest concerns, and support a welcoming experience from arrival through checkout.
Coach the concierge team through ongoing feedback, service guidance, and retail sales role-playing.
Partner with location leadership to review guest feedback and take action to improve the guest experience.
Support retail sales and membership sign-ups through team motivation, goal setting, and meaningful guest conversations.
Help new concierge team members feel connected, supported, and prepared to succeed.
Support inventory ordering, receive and check in purchase orders, and ensure retail products and back bar supplies are accurately recorded, labeled, and organized.
Maintain clean, stocked, and thoughtfully merchandised retail displays, and assist with monthly inventory counts.
Uphold spa and salon protocols, brand standards, and Standards of Excellence.
Lead by example with professionalism, composure, and clear communication to support a positive team environment.

Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
Must be able to sustain reasonable physical activity for the duration of a scheduled shift inclusive of being able to stand, bend, and perform treatments for extended periods of time
Passionate about milk + honey and the wellness industry
Leadership experience
Experience being a team player
Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the business including nights, weekends, holidays
Eagerness to learn and growth within the company
Solution driven and open to feedback
