nHourly Pay Rate: $21.00
nShift: Monday-Friday
nResponsible for insurance related duties for health-related services provided at the People Inc Rehabilitation Center and Medical Practitioner Services of WNY.
nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
n· Responsible for the accurate and timely posting of charges
n· Ensure proper billing procedures and guidelines are followed and maintained
n· Responsible for weekly report to ensure services are being completed by providers and charge posted in a timely manner
n· Responsible for weekly printing and follow up of items placed on hold for missing information.
n· Responsible for accurate and timely completion and submission of weekly electronic and manual billing as assigned.
n· Corrections of all weekly billing errors for both professional and institutional claims as assigned
n· Complete reconciliation of weekly billed claims as assigned
n· Completion of any follow up required on denied or pending claims
n· Responsible for answering billing related patient questions and insurance company questions.
n· Responsible for the review of denials and completing corrections/appeals as required
n· Review of aging reports and completion of documentation of claim status
n· Completion of Medicaid Self Disclosure documentation for corporate compliance
n· Completion of Quarterly Corporate Compliance Audit Reports
n· Responsible for in-depth review of claims and various projects
n· Daily posting of all receipts
n· Reconcile Cash Analysis Report/daily deposit tickets
n· Compare bank activity to Excel cash spreadsheets and research any differences
n· Reconcile bad debt spreadsheet to the bad debt G/L account in INTACCT
n· Other duties as assigned
nMIMIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
n· Associate’s degree or Equivalent. Medical Billing/Cash Receipts posting and/or minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a health-related office.
nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES:
nThis positions has no supervisory responsibilities
