Job TitleProduction Assembly TechnicianJob DescriptionAssists with preparation of assembly for customized orders. Checks production orders for completeness, compatibility, and accuracy. Performs modifications and repairs to large parts of vehicles.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesActivates and reassembles defective parts, assemblies, or aggregatesAssists with preparation of assembly orders for customized sizes, and checks for completeness and accuracyCarries out function checksCollects and monitors operation characteristicsCompletes and ensures availability of appropriate documentation related to the production processHydraulic system installation, Electrical System installationParticipates in drafting of corrective measuresParticipates in regularly scheduled team meetingsPerform maintenance and repairs on vans. Responsible for removing, installing, diagnosing, repairing, disassembling and assembly parts, components and enginesPerforms failure analysis and repairs large parts of vehicleWill perform other duties as assignedWorks under broad supervisionQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferred3+ years relevant experience preferredASE certifications (below) OR equivalent combination of education and experience preferredAll rework technician team members are required to maintain the qualifications set out in the reworker program, including the ASE certificationKnowledge & Skills:knowledge of automotive diagnostics, electronics, hydraulics, mechanical systems, and quality methods and conceptsExperience in automotive manufacturingExperience employing manufacturing quality methodsASE certificationsA4 - suspensions & steeringA5 - BrakesA6 - Electrical/electronic systemsA7 - Heating & Air conditioningA8 - Engine PerformanceA9 - Light Vehicle Diesel Engines
