Design and validate hardened datalink modules and antenna systems for contested environments.
About the Role
Own RF hardware design for encrypted datalink modules — from schematic capture and simulation through prototype validation in anechoic and field test environments.
Responsibilities
Design and validate datalink RF front ends and antenna systems
Characterize link performance in contested and noisy environments
Support integration with embedded software and systems teams
Produce documentation for compliance and manufacturing handoff
Requirements
5+ years RF/hardware design experience (GHz-range links, antennas, filters)
Proficiency with RF simulation tools and lab instrumentation
Understanding of EMI/EMC considerations for defense electronics
Experience with PCB design and design-for-manufacturing
