What You'll Do & Bring
Make an Impact By:
Diagnosing and treating autoimmune, inflammatory, and rheumatologic disorders
Managing chronic conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout, osteoporosis, and related diseases
Developing personalized treatment plans using evidence-based medicine
Performing joint injections, aspirations, and other rheumatologic procedures
Managing biologic therapies, DMARDs, and immunosuppressive medications
Educating patients on disease management, prevention, and wellness strategies
Collaborating with primary care providers, specialists, therapists, pharmacists, and care coordinators
Supporting quality initiatives and patient-centered medical home standards
What You Bring:
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Active, unrestricted Texas medical license
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology
Completion of an Internal Medicine Residency and Rheumatology Fellowship
Current DEA registration or eligibility
Current BLS certification
Strong clinical, communication, and diagnostic skills
Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care
Preferred:
ACLs certification
Experience in an FQHC or community health center
Experience serving underserved populations
