We service multiple areas of the energy industry, from our origins in traditional petrochemical and refining industries to the broader power, natural gas, midstream, industrials, and the emerging renewables market.We are seeking a highly skilled Rig Welder to join our team. As a Rig Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components for oil rigs, pipelines, and other industrial projects. Your work will be critical to ensuring the safety and efficiency of these structures. You will work closely with other members of the team to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards of quality.Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentCompletion of a welding apprenticeship program or equivalent experienceCertification in welding from a recognized institutionExperience working with a variety of welding techniques and materialsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprintsPreferred Qualifications:Experience working on oil rigs or other industrial projectsExperience with automated welding equipmentExperience with non-destructive testing techniquesExperience with welding inspection and quality controlResponsibilities:Performing welding and fabrication work on metal components for oil rigs, pipelines, and other industrial projectsReading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawingsMaintaining welding equipment and toolsEnsuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safetyCollaborating with other members of the team to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budgetSkills:As a Rig Welder, you will use your expertise in welding and fabrication to ensure the safety and efficiency of critical industrial structures. You will need to be highly skilled in a variety of welding techniques and materials, and be able to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. You will also need to be a strong communicator and collaborator, working closely with other members of the team to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards of quality. Attention to detail and a commitment to safety are also essential skills for this role.
