Eric Rigby is the CEO of Rigby Financial Group and a trusted business advisor who helps clients solve complex financial challenges. For more than 25 years, Rigby Financial Group has provided customizable, flexible financial, advisory, and consulting services to businesses. Its services include fractional CFO support, mergers and acquisitions, tax, financial planning, retirement and estate planning, and strategic consulting.

We are looking for a highly organized, detail oriented, confident Virtual Assistant who enjoys keeping things moving and isn't afraid to take ownership. This person should be proactive, resourceful, flexible, and comfortable helping a busy CEO stay focused and on track. You'll need to communicate clearly, know when to share the details and when to get straight to the point, and be comfortable offering your opinion or gently redirecting priorities when needed.

You should be comfortable adapting, speaking up, sharing your honest opinion, and helping keep the CEO organized, prepared, and focused on what matters most.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

Manage and organize the CEO's email inbox and help prioritize communications

Treat the CEO's calendar as the single source of truth and keep it accurate

Prepare for the daily check-in by reviewing the calendar, email, urgent team needs, and current priorities

Coordinate meetings, calendars, travel, and other scheduling needs

Sequence and prioritize tasks based on urgency, deadlines, and business needs

Handle routine administrative tasks and follow-ups, and help route or delegate emails to the appropriate team member

Prepare documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and client materials

Maintain organized client and company information

Respond to client questions and general inquiries in a professional and timely manner

Follow up with clients about outstanding information or documentation

Support marketing campaigns and keep marketing materials and contact lists organized

In addition to the above, the ideal candidate must be/have:

Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills

Confident enough to give an honest opinion and gently keep the CEO on track

Resourceful and curious, with the habit of bringing possible solutions when raising a problem

Proactive and comfortable taking ownership of a project

Dependable with strong follow through, prior planning, and a commitment to doing what you say you'll do

Able to work independently while also being a strong team player

Flexible and able to adjust quickly as priorities and schedules change

Client focused and emotionally intelligent, with a desire to be a go to person for clients and colleagues

Comfortable working with detailed forms, financial information, and client documentation, with an interest in financial services

You must be tech savvy and quick to pick up new tools and software

Tools you'll use in this role, so familiarity is a plus!

Position Details

This is a remote W2 position

Benefits include a 401(k) with a 3% match (enrollment depends on start date)

The position will be 20 to 25 hours per week, with the possibility of increasing up to 30 hours per week, possibly within a year

Hours are Monday through Friday, starting at 8:30 am CST with flexible hours otherwise

Flexibility is important, as the CEO's schedule may vary between Central and Mountain time

The pay rate is $30/hr. USD

You must be able to pass a background check

We are looking for someone to become a long-term (3+ years) team member.
