About This Role
The Registered Nurse in the 5N Maternity/Post Delivery Unit provides comprehensive nursing care for postpartum and GYN patients, ensuring high-quality service and patient safety. This role is ideal for compassionate nurses who thrive in a collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do
Assess human responses and plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
Provide leadership in a professional practice setting.
Assign or delegate tasks based on patient needs and staff skill levels.
Provide feedback regarding clinical practice and role performance.
Participate on interdisciplinary teams to evaluate clinical care.
Promote patient safety initiatives and participate in quality initiatives.
Utilize the nursing process to develop patient care plans.
Analyze health status and determine patient care needs.
Document changes in patient condition and notify appropriate personnel.
Promote compassionate communication that is patient and family-centered.
Requirements
Education
Current State of PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) required.
Experience
Preferred certification in area of specialty.
Licenses & Certifications
CPR certification required.
Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
