Job description
Role Overview: The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care as part of an interdisciplinary team, practicing under the guidance of Nurse Managers and supported by evidence-based standards and organizational models.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using critical thinking and evidence-based practices.
Deliver relationship-based, culturally sensitive care, partnering with patients and families to meet their goals.
Ensure timely and accurate documentation while promoting safety and quality outcomes.
Collaborate with healthcare team members through interdisciplinary communication and shared governance.
Support professional development by mentoring colleagues, completing competency assessments, and participating in research and performance improvement activities.
Maintain compliance with organizational policies, legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
Participate in protocol development, resource management, and patient care planning across the continuum.
Qualifications & Skills:
Associate or Bachelor’s Nursing degree (Bachelor’s preferred).
Valid RN license (single-state or multi-state Compact) and BLS certification.
Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating critical thinking and emergency response skills.
Proficient in technology and basic computer skills.
