The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care within an interdisciplinary team in an acute care setting. They follow evidence-based practices, uphold professional standards, and promote patient-centered care that respects cultural diversity.

Key Responsibilities

Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and goal setting.

Coordinate safe, quality care via interdisciplinary collaboration, documentation, and fostering a respectful environment.

Support performance improvement initiatives, research, and evidence-based practices.

Mentor and serve as a resource for colleagues to ensure a competent workforce.

Adhere to policies, standards, and regulatory requirements, including safety and accreditation standards.

Participate in protocol development, resource management, and continuous professional development.

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum 5 years RN experience with direct patient care preferred. Active RN licensure (single or multi-state), BLS certification, and basic computer skills are required. Must demonstrate strong interpersonal, collaboration, time management, and critical thinking skills, and be able to respond effectively in fast-paced environments.

Education

Associates or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
