About This Role
The Registered Nurse in the Adult Respiratory Telemetry Med Surg unit is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients. What You'll Do
Assess human responses and plan nursing care for individuals or families.
Provide leadership in a professional practice setting.
Assign or delegate tasks based on patient needs and staff skill levels.
Provide verbal and written feedback regarding clinical practice and role performance.
Participate on interdisciplinary teams to evaluate clinical care or health services.
Promote patient safety initiatives and participate in department-specific quality initiatives.
Utilize the nursing process to implement patient care plans as prescribed.
Analyze health status and determine patient care needs.
Document changes in patient condition and notify appropriate personnel.
Participate in systematic peer review and seek feedback on practice.
Requirements
Education: Current State of PA RN licensure or current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
Experience: Preferred certification in area of specialty.
Licenses & Certifications: Current RN License in Pennsylvania.
CPR certification required.
Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 clearances required.
