Internal Medicine Department Overview
As RN Team Lead, you will coordinate and oversee daily operations, workflows, delivery of care and caregiver education as needed. Some of your responsibilities will include direct patient support, while others are more clerical and administrative in nature.
Key Responsibilities
Provide professional nursing care to a specific patient population in a variety of ambulatory settings.
Assist in providing clinical oversight to assigned caregivers and patients to ensure quality and safe care.
Coordinate and resolve daily operational issues.
Perform duties of an RN Ambulatory.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety initiatives.
Facilitate orientation, teaching, coaching and mentoring of assigned caregivers.
Assist in preparing department specific education.
Participate in quality initiatives, process improvement and research activities to improve patient outcomes, experience and safety.
A caregiver in this position works 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and may cover evenings and weekends for extended hours if needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Two years of recent RN experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross
Ability to travel to Cleveland Clinic regional locations
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Previous Charge Nurse or supervisory experience
Physical Requirements
Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye‑hand coordination.
Requires corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
May require some exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids.
Light work: exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly.
Personal Protective Equipment
Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $34.50
Maximum hourly: $54.40
The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.).
