Plymouth, MA • Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth • Per Diem • NightWhen you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you’re making a difference in people’s lives.REGISTERED NURSE – PER DIEMJob Description:UNIT DESCRIPTION:The Birthplace is a 12-bed, private room, labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum unit that includes a nursery staffed by obstetricians, certified nurse midwives, pediatricians, neonatologists and registered nurses. The Unit also has a 2 bed triage and 6 bed postpartum area. Registered nurses are required to demonstrate competent care of the patient in labor, delivery, postpartum and newborn advanced fetal monitoring, breastfeeding education, neonatal resuscitation certification, advanced life support certification, and the OR scrub and circulating roles.Minimum Requirements:Current Massachusetts RN licenseLabor and Delivery experience requiredMother/Baby experience requiredAHA BLS and ACLS certifications required upon hireNRP required upon hireEvidence of recent AWHONN EFM continuing education required upon hireRecommended Requirements:OR Circulating & Scrub experience preferredExperience working in continuing care/special care nursery/NICU environment preferredWillingness to cross-train in continuing care/special care nursery/NICU environment requiredApplication Instructions: Applicants will only be considered for the specific Job Posting to which they apply.
