Registered Nurse - Acute Care/Med Surg

This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Day shifts, 5x8 hours from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM. Primarily Monday to Friday, but must be willing to cover some weekends.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients in an acute care/med-surg environment. Responsibilities will include care coordination, discharge planning, and ensuring compliance with CMS and HIPAA guidelines. Candidates must possess acute care experience and be comfortable handling a variety of patient diagnoses.
Responsibilities
Manage patient admissions and discharges effectively.
Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with care standards.
Monitor patient conditions and implement appropriate interventions.
Participate in the planning and execution of patient care activities.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Must have a valid compact state RN license.
At least 2 years of acute care/med-surg nursing experience.
Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
Prior charge experience is a plus.
Must be willing to work 1 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's).
