Description
Under the supervision of the Unit Director, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for performing patient care functions in accordance with the standards established by the State of Maine Board of Nursing and the organization's policies and procedures. The Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse will provide direct supervision during the assigned shift.
Job Requirements
Education: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
License: Must hold a current RN license in Maine or a compact license.
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and IV certification required.
Experience: 1 to 3 years of nursing experience preferred.
Skills: Must be a team player with strong communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Additional Information Travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility may experience a decrease in pay rate.
Up to 16 hours of orientation will be unpaid.
Shifts are subject to cancellation up to three times within a 13-week contract period.
