Registered Nurse (RN) Cath Lab
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 24 months of current pre/post-operative or cath or cardiac experience required; 3 years of experience preferred for first-time travelers License: Valid state license Certifications: AHA/Active American Heart Association or ARC/American Red Cross BLS required Must-Have: - 24 months minimum experience in Cardiac/cardiology, Cath, or Vascular setting required - Pre/post-operative experience required - EPIC EMR experience required - TEE experience required - Cardioversion experience required - Diagnostic procedures experience required - Stress Testing experience preferred Description: Quickly interviewing viable candidates. No local candidates will be considered; applicants must reside at least 50 miles from the facility based on their driver's license. Any past employee cannot work travel in another market for the health system, regardless of the facility they currently work at or have worked at within the past 12 months. If candidates have worked travel, the separation policy does not apply. Contractors are required to work 1-2 of the upcoming holidays unless the unit is closed. The unit consists of 2 procedure rooms and 3 pre/post bays with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:3. Patient types include non-invasive cardiology procedures such as TEE, cardioversions, and stress testing. Candidates are encouraged to apply quickly for this opportunity.
