Position: Travel RN Cath Lab
Shift:
7 AM - 7 PM (Days + Call)
Unit Information:
Location: Denton, TX
Number of Beds: Procedure area includes 2 Cath Labs, 1 EP Lab, and 1 IR Neuro Lab
Number of Staff: 7 for Cath/EP Lab and 6 for IR Neuro Lab
Staffing Type: Day Shift (4 Techs and 3 RNs for Cath/EP; 3 Techs and 3 RNs for IR Neuro)
Patient Ratios: 1:1
Equipment: Temporary Pacemaker
Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump
Impella
Penumbra
Shockwave
IVUS
IFR
GE Mac Lab Monitoring/Innova Imaging
Electronic Medical Record (EMR):
Mac Lab/Meditech
Typical Hiring Profile: Essential Skill Set:
Cath Lab Techs must have experience scrubbing and panning
Cath Lab RNs must have experience in circulating
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Electrophysiology
Experience in Interventional Radiology
Experience in Interventional Neuro
Typical Procedures Performed: Diagnostic and Interventional Heart Catheterizations
Interventional Radiology Procedures
Personality Fit:
Assertive individuals are preferred.
Required Certifications: Cath Lab Techs: RCIS, ACLS, R.T., ARRT, R.T. (R)
Nurses: RN, ACLS
Floating Areas: Emergency Department
Discharge Lounge
Other areas as needed within skill set
Dress Code:
Scrub Color/Attire: Seal Blue
Unit Policies:
To be provided upon request.
Weekends and On-Call:
Rotating call after hours and weekends, approximately 50% of the month.
