Acute Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU
Position Information:
Facility Department: 60501
Role: RN
Specialty: TELE/PCU - Cardiac
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend, based on staffing needs
Call Requirements: None
Required Certifications: BLS
Years of Experience: 2+ years preferred
Float Requirements: Typically not floated; may float to 1:1s as needed
Unit Information: Patient Ratios: RN 1:5, NA 10-12 (days), 20-22 (nights)
Equipment: Pacer Alines
EHR: EPIC
Patient Population: Cardiac geriatric
Hiring Profile: Must Have Skills/Experience: Cardiac nursing experience
Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Chest Pain (CP), Myocardial Infarction (MI), Open Heart Surgery, Watchman Procedure, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Postoperative cardiac catheterization, and postoperative pacemaker care.
Personality Fit: Positive attitude
Required Education: Registered Nurse with BLS certification
